Question about training for Lobo

hey adam,

about ur training layout. 2 hard sessions, 2 light sessions, and 1 medium a week right? you think 2 hard sessions is enuf to maintain conditioning. Pro boxers i hear do intervals everymorning, followed by training in the evening (skill, pads, bags, sparring).

I'm trying to find a good way to balance myself here. I'm often chosy about which trainer i work with and what i do each day. They tend to just burn out on pads everytimes, i dun know if that's efficient at all.

hm...it's ...

Looking for strength train alternatives ?

The past two 2 years i have experimented and learned how to use the Kettlebells and read a number of articles on alternative strength training that you won't find at Goodlife. Kettlebells fill my need for strength training and I believe it can help someone else as well. I just read this article and thought that someone at the gym ( including myself) would be able to get some thing from it. If you don't recognize the movement go to youtube.com to view it.

I have been researching programs created by a strength coach (Pavel) using periodization (he did not invent it). I haven’t used the theory for Muay Thai training but swear by it in kettlebell training. I have no qualifications other then experience and motivation so on that note I have come up with a sample program for increasing ones kick numbers.

You need to do a few things first. Buy yourself some paper and a pen to keep track of our numbers and comments. Second you need to get a partner ...

Something that I am face with right now, and I'm sure a lot of people have faced more times than once. Getting back into training.

The key here I think, is to resist every urge u have to go all-out. Even after your first couple of work-outs. Often going back to the basics, and who can perform them the best, is what results in a positive outcome ...
